Here For You Hero Award 2023
You can now nominate this year’s Here For You Heroes in our popular award scheme for 2023. We encourage you to recognise the work of your colleagues and send in an entry.
The Here For You Hero Award recognises those who go above and beyond in the workplace, specifically in the psychological support of their team and for exemplifying true compassionate leadership.
When someone is nominated as a Here For You Hero they will receive a certificate signed by NHS England & Improvement Regional Head for Mental Health, Clinical Networks and Transformation, Helen Hardy and they will receive a metal lapel pin badge noting they are a true Here For You Hero!
Additionally the nomination and photograph (if they wish) will feature in our internal newsletter which will now come out four times a year and is distributed across the entire Hertfordshire and Essex health and social care system, often with a couple of other Hero nominations.
We only publicise this information internally through our staff newsletter distributed to all staff across Herts and Essex. However, we will of course inform and work with Heroes respective Communications teams who will also liaise independently with their own staff about publicising the information.
How to nominate your Here For You Hero:
1.Fill in the attached nomination form here on the website and in a few short sentences explain why your chosen Hero has gone above and beyond specifically in the psychological support of their colleagues and team and for exemplifying true compassionate leadership. We may contact you later on for more details.
2. Email the form to: hereforyou@nhs.net
3. Expect to hear back from us that we have received your nomination within 5 working days. We will let you know when we will be contacting your Hero to let them know and send them their certificate and when their story will appear in the Here For You newsletter.
