A reflective webinar on building and strengthening meaningful connections at work

This interactive and reflective webinar aims to explore relationships and connections at work. We will invite you to think about the effect of our relationships on our ability to do our jobs, our overall wellbeing and what can help. You are invited to attend one of two reflective sessions to reflect on your experiences by sharing what has helped and where to access support. The 30-minute webinar will be recorded and shared on our website. The 1-hour reflective sessions will be open for discussion and will not be recorded.

Alcohol Awareness Bitesize Webinar

The Here For You team will be hosting an online bitesize webinar as part of the Alcohol Change UK’s, Dry January month. We will be exploring the use of alcohol as a way of managing stressors, the impact of alcohol on health and wellbeing and offering some strategies to help increase awareness of alcohol and how to reduce use if necessary. We will also include details of organizations who may be able to support with this further. The webinar presentation will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes for comments and questions.

Seasonal Affective Disorder Webinar

Do you suffer with low mood during the winter season? As the clocks change, people often dread the next three months with short days, lack of sunlight, cold weather and less opportunity to get a dose of Vitamin D. All of these changes can affect our mood. If you recognise these symptoms, you might be suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder, more commonly referred to as SAD. This webinar will explore the symptoms of SAD and offer some strategies to manage this. This webinar will be recorded and shared on our website. The last 15 minutes will be open for discussion and will not be recorded.

Everyone can feel fatigued. We recognise that it can be difficult to overcome fatigue, particularly with this time of year and facing current challenges. Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Workshop Dates 2022 - for Families

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust’s Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners offer a range of workshops to educate parents/carers and young people about various mental health and emotional wellbeing topics and equip them with strategies to implement at home to aid in the management of these issues. Please note – you only need to register for one ticket, even if multiple people in your household are attending. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration to allow others to.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Webinar

The Here For You team will be hosting a second webinar as part of Movember month focusing on raising mental health awareness amongst men. The webinar will also focus on how we can encourage more men to take the time to look after their own mental health/wellbeing and to seek appropriate support. We will be joined by guest speakers, including Dr Simon Chatfield, Clinical lead cancer & planned care, Herts & West Essex ICS who has over 30 years experience as a GP in practice. Many Carers juggle their caring responsibilities with work, study and other family commitments and this means it can be difficult to also look after themselves. These sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for Carers to share experiences, reflect on their role as a Carer and talk through what helps them to balance their caring responsibilities with their needs. These sessions coincide with Carers Rights Day 2022

We recognise that our International staff can face particular emotional challenges related to the context of doing valuable work in UK organisations. This session is an opportunity to explore these challenges in the healthcare, social care, or not-for-profit sectors. The Hertfordshire and Essex staff groups are from a range of diverse backgrounds, and we want to offer this webinar to ALL staff whatever their origins or ethnicity. A national training programme which aims to offer support for those with caring responsibilities for staff, in how to have compassionate conversations about various aspects of wellbeing. The programme is aimed at line managers (of any profession, banding or grade), peers and colleagues working across the NHS in roles which have caring responsibilities for staff – for example clinical and educational supervisors, team leaders, members of staff networks, health and wellbeing champions or Wellbeing Guardians.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Webinar
