Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Clinical Lead (Herts)
Hi there, I’m Bhavisha. I am the clinical and service lead for Here for You (Hertfordshire).
I joined the NHS in 2001 and have worked in Primary Care, Secondary Care, Inpatient services, and Eating Disorders Services and am drawn to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy & Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing as therapeutic models. Most of my clinical experience has been with adults of working age. I joined the Here For You team in March 2021 and have been privileged to have supported staff members from various teams in health, social and voluntary services. I am passionate about our service’s aim which is to assist in the journey for staff to access appropriate emotional and psychological support in a timely way. I love listening to music, dancing and going for walks although I do also really enjoy having some quality time on the sofa watching films too.
