Sara Crean-Muir

Hello!  I’m Sara and Here For You’s Project Lead & member of the Senior Leadership Team since it’s launch in January 2021.  I am a Mental Health Nurse & service manager of 24 years specialising in A&E liaison & dementia care.  I have worked as a Director in the third sector and for the last 12 years, I have been contracted in statutory organisations to develop new specialist services.  My role is to establish a system wide staff support service and help manage the unique collaboration of two provider Trusts – supporting our colleagues mental wellbeing is the greatest privilege of all & I am very proud of what we have achieved so far, especially receiving a national award in workforce wellbeing!  I am also fortunate to be able to offer clinical support as an EMDR trauma therapist and qualified Systems Psychodynamic Organisational Consultant (Tavistock, London), trained to deliver reflective support practice into teams & leadership – working with group dynamics is my special interest, particularly in times of change or difficulty.  I value the importance of self-care & personal development, having experienced my own mental health journey.  I process my day through cooking & music – anything from Einaudi to Metallica!  And when I need to escape, I go to my happy place in Ireland with my young family & dogs.
